While the weather is sandstorm, the user's evasion increases by 20% (not counted as a stat modifier) and it does not take damage from the sandstorm, regardless of its type. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate is halved while in a sandstorm.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Electric-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack and restores the users HP by 1/4 of its maximum HP.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Water-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack and restores the users HP by 1/4 of its maximum HP.
The user cannot be affected by infatuation induced by Attract or Cute Charm.
While the user is on the field, all weather conditions lose all of their effects and the field is treated as if there is no weather condition occurring (although the animation still plays).
The user's attacks have 1.3x their usual accuracy (so Hypnosis has 78% accuracy rather than 60%). Out of battle: If the user is the lead Pokemon, wild Pokemon have a 1.5x higher chance of holding an item.
The user cannot fall asleep. Rest fails if used by the user.
The user's type changes to the type of the last damaging attack used against it.
The user cannot be poisoned or badly poisoned.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Fire-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack, then raises the power of the user's Fire-type attacks by 1.5x as long as it is on the field. (This power bonus does not stack if hit multiple times.) (Works even while frozen.)
Prevents any added effects of damaging attacks done to the user. This refers to attacks with an X% chance of an effect occurring.
The user cannot be confused.
The user is not affected by attacks that force a Pokemon to be switched out, such as Whirlwind or Roar. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate while fishing is increased.
Lowers all enemy Pokemon's Attack by one stage when the user is sent out (or when copied with Trace). Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, lower-level Pokemon in the wild have a lower encounter rate.
Prevents enemy Pokemon from switching out or running away unless it also has Shadow Tag or the Shed Shell, or uses Baton Pass, U-Turn, or Volt Switch. Out of battle: if the user is your lead Pokemon, the wild encounter rate is halved.
If the user is attacked by a direct attack, the attacker receives damage equal to 1/8 its maximum HP.
The user isn't damaged by any attack that isn't super effective against it. Skill Swap and Role Play cannot copy this ability. The user can still be damaged by weather and status conditions.
The user is not damaged or affected by Ground-type attacks, as if it had a type immunity. This ability is disabled during the effects of Gravity, Ingrain, or while holding an Iron Ball; it is not disabled when using Roost. The user isn't affected by Arena Trap, Spikes, Toxic Spikes, or Sky Drop.
If the user is attacked by a direct attack, the attacker has a 30% chance of being afflicted by poison, paralyze, or sleep.
If the user becomes affected with burned, poison, badly poisoned, or paralyze from another Pokemon's attack, the attacker receives the same status condition (unless its type or ability prevents that condition). Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, wild Pokemon have a 50% chance of having the user's nature instead of a random nature.
Prevents any other Pokemon from lowering the user's stats.
When the user leaves the field or when the battle ends, it is cured of all status conditions.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Electric-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack, and raises its Special Attack by one stage afterwards. In a Double or Triple Battle, all single target Electric-type attacks are directed at the user instead of their actual target.
Doubles the chance of an additional effect happening for the user's attacks. This refers to attacks with an X% chance of an effect occurring.
As long as the weather is rainy, the user's base Speed is doubled.
As long as the weather is sunny, the user's base Speed is doubled.
No effect inside of battles. Out of battle: Doubles the encounter rate of wild Pokemon.
When the user is sent out, its ability is replaced with an enemy's ability (chosen at random in a Double Battle or Triple Battle). (Cannot copy Multitype.)
Treats the user's base Attack as being doubled while in battle. If this ability is copied or swapped, it is only raised by 1.5x instead.
Has a 30% chance of poisoning an attacker that hits the user with a direct attack.
The user will not flinch, except if hit while using Focus Punch.
The user cannot be frozen. Out of battle: If the user is in the party, eggs hatch roughly twice as quick as usual. (Does not stack with other Magma Armor or Flame Body abilities.)
The user cannot be burned.
Prevents all Steel-type Pokemon from switching out or running away, unless it has the Shed Shell, or uses Baton Pass, U-Turn, or Volt Switch. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, Steel-type Pokemon are 50% more likely to be encountered in the wild if they are in the area.
The user is unaffected by any of the following moves: Bug Buzz, Chatter, Echoed Voice, Growl, GrassWhistle, Hyper Voice, Metal Sound, Perish Song, Relic Voice, Roar, Screech, Sing, Snarl, Snore, Supersonic, and Uproar. Howl, Roar of Time, SonicBoom, and Heal Bell are not affected.
If the weather is rainy, the user recovers 1/16 of their maximum HP after every turn.
Changes the weather to sandstorm when the user enters the field. This sandstorm continues indefinitely until it is overwritten by another weather condition.
Each of your opponent's attacks consume one additional PP when used (they can still use moves with 1 PP remaining). Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, Pokemon with higher levels in an area have their encounter rate lowered by 50%.
Reduces the damage the user receives by Fire- and Ice-type attacks by 50%, after weakness and resistance have been factored in.
The user is cured from sleep twice as fast as usual. If the user uses Rest, it wakes up after one turn of staying asleep rather than two.
Has a 30% chance of inflicting burn to an attacker that hits the user with a direct attack. Out of battle: If the user is in the party, eggs hatch roughly twice as quick as usual. (Does not stack with other Magma Armor or Flame Body abilities.)
The user is always able to run from wild Pokemon successfully, regardless of effects such as Mean Look, Shadow Tag, etc.
Prevents the user from having its Accuracy lowered by other Pokemon's attacks. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, wild Pokemon whose levels are 5 or more lower than the user's have their encounter rate lowered by 50%.
Prevents the user from having its Attack lowered by other Pokemon's attacks or abilities.
If the foe consumes a Held Item and the user has no Held Item, the user will take and hold the Held Item after it is used. Out of battle: After a battle, if the user has no Held Item, the user has a 10% chance of picking up an item, depending on its level. Some items are rarer than others.
The user loafs around and does nothing every other turn. Attacks with a recharge time (such as Hyper Beam, Giga Impact, etc.) do not have to recharge after use, but the user still loafs around that turn.
Raises the power of the user's Physical-based attacks by 1.5x, but lowers the Accuracy of the user's Physical-based attacks to 80% of their usual accuracy. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, Pokemon with higher levels in an area have their encounter rate raised by 50%.
Has a 30% chance of infatuating an attacker of the opposite gender as the user that hits the user with a direct attack. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, wild Pokemon that can be either male or female have a 2/3 chance of being the gender opposite of the user's, regardless of the usual gender ratio.
Raises the user's Special Attack by 1.5x if one of your other Pokemon on the field has Plus or Minus.
Raises the user's Special Attack by 1.5x if one of your other Pokemon on the field has Plus or Minus.
Castform's appearance and type change based on the current weather. Sunny turns it into a Fire-type; rainy turns it into a Water-type; and hail turns it into an Ice-type. (No effect if the user is not Castform.)
No attacks except for the user's can remove, steal, or switch the user's Held Item. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate while fishing is increased.
The user has a 30% chance of removing any major status conditions it has at the end of each turn.
Raises the user's base Attack by 1.5x while it is affected by burn, paralyze, poison, or sleep. The user's Attack stat isn't lowered by burn like usual.
Raises the user's base Defense by 1.5x while it is affected by a major status condition.
If an attacker uses an attack that would drain HP from the user, it receives that amount in damage rather than restoring HP. Dream Eater is not affected.
Raises the power of the user's Grass-type attacks by 1.5x while the user has 1/3 or less of its maximum HP (rounded down).
Raises the power of the user's Fire-type attacks by 1.5x while the user has 1/3 or less of its maximum HP (rounded down).
Raises the power of the user's Water-type attacks by 1.5x while the user has 1/3 or less of its maximum HP (rounded down).
Raises the power of the user's Bug-type attacks by 1.5x while the user has 1/3 or less of its maximum HP (rounded down). Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate for wild Pokemon is increased.
Prevents the user from receiving any recoil damage from its attacks that cause recoil damage, excluding Struggle, Jump Kick, and Hi Jump Kick. Life Orb does not count as recoil damage.
Changes the weather to sunny when the user enters the field. This drought continues indefinitely until it is overridden by another weather condition.
Prevents enemy Pokemon from switching out or running away as long as the user is on the field. Has no effect on Flying-type Pokemon, Pokemon with Levitate, or Pokemon under the effect of Magnet Rise. Pokemon can still switch with Baton Pass, U-Turn, Volt Switch, or if they hold the Shed Shell. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate for wild Pokemon doubles.

While the weather is hail, the user's evasion increases by 20% (not counted as a stat modifier) and it does not take damage from hail, regardless of its type. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate is halved while in a blizzard.
The user will use any held berry when the user is at 50% or less of its maximum HP, regardless of when the berry is usually used.
Raises the user's Attack modifier to the absolute maximum (+6 stages) if the user is hit by a critical hit, unless it is behind a Substitute.
The user's base Speed is doubled after its Held Item is used, consumed, or removed (only if it had one to start with). If it leaves the field after this effect or gains another item, this bonus is reset.
Reduces the damage the user receives by Fire-type attacks by 50%, after weakness and resistance have been factored in. The user loses 1/16 of its HP each turn from burn instead of 1/8.
Any of the user's stats that have been raised or lowered are raised or lowered twice as much as usual while Simple is in effect. (Growl lowers the user's Attack by two stages and Amnesia raises the user's Special Defense by four stages.) (You can still raise or lower up to six stages, but you don't get bonuses past +3 due to Simple until the ability is canceled.)
If the weather is rainy, the user restores 1/8th of its maximum HP each turn; if the weather is sunny, the user loses 1/8th of its maximum HP each turn; increases the damage done to the user by Fire-type attacks by 1.25x. Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Water-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack and restores the users HP by 1/4 of its maximum HP.
If an enemy's Defense (chosen at random in a Double or Triple Battle) is less than its Special Defense, the user raises its Attack by one stage when sent out; otherwise, the user raises its Special Attack by one stage when sent out.
Raises the power of any of the user's punching attacks by 1.2x. This includes: Bullet Punch, Comet Punch, Dizzy Punch, Drain Punch, DynamicPunch, Fire Punch, Focus Punch, Hammer Arm, Ice Punch, Mach Punch, Mega Punch, Meteor Mash, Shadow Punch, Sky Uppercut, and ThunderPunch, but does not include Sucker Punch.
The user restores 1/8 its maximum HP at the end of each turn if it is poisoned rather than taking poison damage.
Any of the user's attacks that is also one of the user's types does 2x damage rather than the usual 1.5x due to STAB.
Any attack that the user uses that hit between 2 and 5 times will always hit a total of 5 times, unless the attack misses. This only affects attacks like Fury Attack, not ones such as Double Kick or Triple Kick.
If the weather is rainy, the user heals any major status condition it has at the end of every turn.
Raises the user's base Special Attack by 1.5x while the weather is sunny, but the user takes 1/8 of its maximum HP in damage at the end of every turn it is sunny.
Raises the user's base Speed by 1.5x while it is affected by a major status condition. The user's Speed stat isn't lowered by paralyze like usual. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, lowers the encounter rate for wild Pokemon by 50%.
All of the user's attacks are Normal-type instead of their usual type.
The user's critical hits strike for 3x as much damage instead of 2x.
The user is immune to damage not specifically dealt by an attack's damage, including weather damage, recoil damage, damage from status conditions (although burn still lowers the user's base Attack), Life Orb damage (still increases attack power), Leech Seed, Jaboca Berry or Rowap Berry, etc. Struggle, Pain Split, Belly Drum, and Substitute are not affected by Magic Guard. The user can still be fully paralyzed.
Attacks used by the user and attacks targeting the user do not miss, even if in the air or underground due to Fly, Dig, etc. One-hit KO moves such as Horn Drill and Sheer Cold are not affected. Protect and Detect (and similar moves) still prevent the attack. Out of battle: If the user is your lead Pokemon, the encounter rate for wild Pokemon increases by 50%.
The user will always attack last, regardless of its Speed. Priority for attacks (i.e., Quick Attack, Focus Punch) still apply as normal. This works even during Trick Room.

Any of the user's attacks that have a base power of 60 or less does 1.5x as much damage. This includes attacks such as Hidden Power or Magnitude when their power is 60 or less.
While the weather is sunny, the user cannot be inflicted with major status conditions. (The user can still use Rest.)
The user's Held Item has no effect while held. The Speed reduction from Iron Ball, Macho Brace, and all Power items still occurs. The user still gains EXP and EV bonuses from Exp. Share, Macho Brace, and Power items.
The user's attacks ignore any of the target's abilities that could prevent their damage or effect. This includes Levitate, Soundproof, Water Absorb, Motor Drive, etc.; this includes abilities that prevent effects or conditions, such as Clear Body, Shell Armor, Sticky Hold, etc.; abilities that lower damage or accuracy, such as Simple, Sand Veil, Thick Fat, etc.; and abilities that prevent the user from hitting its target, such as Lightningrod and Storm Drain.
The user's base critical hit rate is doubled.
If the user is knocked out by a direct attack, the attacker is damaged by 1/4 its maximum HP.
When the user is sent out, if an enemy Pokemon has an attack that is super effective against the user, Selfdestruct, Explosion, or a one-hit KO attack, its anticipation causes it to shudder (showing a message on the screen to all Trainers).
When the user is sent out, a message is shown with the highest base power move any of the enemy Pokemon have (chosen randomly if any moves are equally strong). One-hit KO moves are treated as 160 power, counter moves are treated as 120 power, and variable power moves such as Grass Knot or Gyro Ball are treated as 80 power.
The user's attacks don't factor in any stat changes to the target's stats; any attacks against the user don't factor in any stat changes to the attacking Pokemon's stats. Modifiers to Speed are still applied (for Gyro Ball, etc.).
If one of the target's types is resistant to the attack the user is using, the attack does normal damage rather than 50%; if both of the target's types is resistant to the attack, the attack does 50% damage rather than 25% damage.
Any attacks that are super effective against the user have their damage reduced by 25%.
While the user has this ability, the user's Attack and Speed are halved during the first 5 turns it is on the field. If it is switched or forced out, this count resets.
The user's Normal- and Fighting-type attacks can hit Ghost-type Pokemon.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Water-type attack, it absorbs all damage and effects of that attack, and raises its Special Attack by one stage afterwards. In a Double or Triple Battle, all single target Water-type attacks are directed at the user instead of their actual target.
If the weather is hail, the user recovers 1/16 of their maximum HP after every turn and it does not take damage from hail, regardless of its type.
Any attacks that are super effective against the user have their damage reduced by 25%.

If the user has no Held Item equipped, there's a chance the user may be holding Honey after each battle. That chance starts at 5% and increases by 5% at every 10th level, capping at 50% at level 91-100.
When the user is sent out, a message is shown with an enemy's Held Item (chosen at random if in a Double Battle or Triple Battle), if any are held.
Raises the power of any of the user's recoil attacks by 1.2x. This also includes Jump Kick and Hi Jump Kick, but does not include Struggle.
Changes Arceus' type based on what Plate it has equipped as a Held Item. Arceus' equipped Plate cannot be removed or stolen by an enemy's attack, nor can Arceus' type be changed by an attack or effect. This ability cannot be copied (except through Transform), disabled (e.g. Mummy), or changed.
While the weather is sunny and the user is on the field, all of your Pokemon have their base Attack and base Special Defense raised by 1.5x. (Doesn't stack if you have more than 1 Flower Gift active.)
Each enemy Pokemon that is asleep at the end of each turn is damaged by 1/8 of its maximum HP. (If you have more than one Pokemon with Bad Dreams, the effect applies for each Pokemon active.)
If the user has no Held Item when it attacks the target with a direct attack, it steals the target's Held Item.
The user's damaging attacks with beneficial secondary effects lose those effects, but have their power increased by 1.3x. (This affects Flare Blitz due to its chance of burn, but does not affect Hammer Arm, etc., as their secondary effects are detrimental.) If the attack is boosted and the user holds Life Orb, it will not receive Life Orb's recoil effect.
Any modifiers to the user's stats are reversed, raising stats when they would normally be lowered and lowering stats when they would normally be raised. This includes the user's own attacks lowering its stats.
All opponents cannot use their held berries.
If the user's stats are lowered by an opponent's stat modifier, raises user's Attack by two stages afterward.
When the user's remaining HP is 50% or less, the user's Attack and Special Attack are halved.
Has a 30% chance of disabling the attack used by the attacking Pokemon after it hits the user.
Has a 30% chance of curing any of the user's adjacent allies of their major status conditions each turn.
While the user is on the field, any damage done to any of the user's allies is reduced by 25%.
After each hit from a Physical-based attack (including multi-hit attacks), lowers the user's Defense by one stage and raises the user's Speed by one stage.
The user's weight is considered 2x its usual weight, which affects attacks such as Low Kick, Grass Knot, etc.
The user's weight is considered 1/2 its usual weight, which affects attacks such as Low Kick, Grass Knot, etc.
Reduces damage received from an attack by half if user's HP is full before taking damage.
Raises the user's base Attack by 1.5x while it is affected by poison.
Raises the user's base Special Attack by 1.5x while it is affected by burn.
If the user consumed a berry this turn, the user recovers that berry at the end of the turn. It may be used in this way an unlimited number of times, unless it is removed by Knock Off, swapped by Trick, etc.
The user avoids damaging attacks performed by any of its allies and will not take damage from them.
At the end of each turn, the user raises one of its stats at random by two stages, then lowers one of its other stats at random by two stages. This includes Accuracy and evasion, but will not raise or lower a stat at maximum (+6) or minimum (-6).
The user receives no damage from weather conditions.
Has a 20% chance of afflicting the target with poison if the user attacks it with a direct attack.
When user leaves the field, it heals HP equal 1/3 of its maximum HP.
The user's Defense cannot be lowered by stat modifiers.
As long as the weather is sandstorm, the user's base Speed is doubled and it does not take damage from sandstorm, regardless of its type.
Reduces the chance of a status-inducing attack affecting the user by half. Does not affect attacks that inflict damage and have a secondary effect of inflicting a status condition.
Increases the damage of the user's move by 30% if the user attacks after its target.
The user takes on the appearance and nickname of the last Pokemon in your party, masking its appearance in battle. It keeps its original stats and type. When the user is damaged by an attack, it reveals its true form.
This Pokémon transforms into a random opponent upon entering battle. This effect is identical to the move []{move:transform}.
The user's attacks ignore Reflect, Light Screen, and Safeguard.
After taking damage from a direct attack, changes the attacker's ability to Mummy. (Does not affect Wonder Guard or Multitype.)

Raises the user's Attack by one stage after each hit by a Dark-type attack. (The user still receives damage from Dark-type attacks.)

Reflects the effects of all status-inducing attacks, attacks like Spikes and Stealth Rock, and stat-lowering stat modifier attacks back to the attacker. (See Magic Coat.) Activates only once per turn. Doesn't affect attackers with Teravolt, Turboblaze, or Mold Breaker.
Whenever the user is hit by another Pokemon's Grass-type attack, it prevents all damage and effects of that attack, then raises the user's Attack by one stage.
The user strikes before other Pokemon if it is using a non-damaging attack. (Priority still applies, so it doesn't get to use attacks with a lower priority first.)
Raises the power of the user's Ground-, Rock-, and Steel-type attacks by 30% during a sandstorm. The user won't receive damage from sandstorm, regardless of its type.
If the user is attacked by a direct attack, the attacker receives damage equal to 1/8 its maximum HP.
The user changes its form to its Zen Mode form when its HP is less than 50%. If it restores its HP higher than 50% or loses its ability, it will change back. Has no effect on Pokemon other than Darmanitan.
Raises the user's and all allies' Accuracy by 10% while the user is on the field.
