42. Lacunosa Town+ Route 12

Lacunosa Town

First things first, the Pokemon Center is south and then to the west from when you enter via Route 13. Go ahead and visit there first to heal up after your adventure.
The Pokemon Center has two characters that may be of interest. One of them will give you theGracidea if you have a Shaymin, whereas the other one will tell you which Pokemon you had on your party when you earned a certain Gym Badge. That's rather handy in case you want to bring back nostalgia, since, at this point, it was such a long time ago that you've earned all of them.

Goodness Gracidea!
If you have a Shaymin in your party that was obtained from a fateful encounter (the ones given away via the distributions; not ones caught with anything but a Cherish Ball), you can talk to the lady to the right of the PC inside of the Pokemon Center and she will give you theGracidea, an item that will transform your Shaymin into its Sky Forme if used during the day.
On Sunday nights, you can talk to a Clerk (Male) inside of one of the buildings and he'll give you a berry. He's handing out either a Pecha Berry, Bluk Berry, Leppa Berry, or the very-useful Lum Berry.
Sadly, that's about all there is to do in Lacunosa Town, other than explore the series of stairs and such. If it's night time, all of the villagers will be inside of their houses, whereas they roam around in the streets if it's day.
Wasn't that exciting? Anyway, head on to the southwest and you'll make your way over to Route 12.

There are plenty of Trainers and Pokemon all over this route, but since it is mostly a hilly field, there's no direct order you need to fight them in or explore the route in.
I'll explain it to you by going counterclockwise, heading north and fighting the Pokemon Breeder there. He uses a Makuhita L63, a Riolu L63, and a Tyrogue L63. He'll give you a Sitrus Berry after beating him. Just to the north of him is a Revive.
All of the thick grass is on the northern part of the route. About halfway through the route, on the northern side, you can pick up a very useful TM for your Grass-type Pokemon: TM53 (Energy Ball) — a Special-based Grass-type attack that hits fairly hard and has a chance of lowering Sp. Def. Right near that TM is another Pokemon Breeder. She has a lot of Pokemon on her team: a Shuppet L61, a Snorunt L61, a Cacnea L61, a Phanpy L61, and lastly a Skitty L61. Like her colleague, she'll also give you a Sitrus Berry after your victory.
There's a School Kid just to the southeast of her, which you might not want to miss out on. He uses a Weedle L63, a Beedrill L63, and a Kakuna L63.
Anyway, go back west and you'll find a fence. That path by the fence leads you over to Village Bridge, so you'll want to go there when you're done getting everything on Route 12. But for now, slide down in the opening to the south of the fence and go get the Full Heal waiting there for you.
Head back towards the east and you can fight some Backers in a double battle. They each use a Swoobat L65, so watch out, because they're rather zippy things. Lastly, there's a little School Kid just to the east of them, right back from where you started. She uses a Paras L64 and a Wormadam L64 (Sandy Cloak, so it is Bug/Ground-type).
Yup, that's all there is on the Route, so make your way back west and head on over to Village Bridge.
